Democracy & the West: Iran marks Islamic revolution

Islamic Revolution in Iran is still being criticized by the Western powers led by the “democratic leader” USA, though it was purely an internal politico-religious matter of Iran. Even as being under constant threat from anti-Islamic nations led by USA and Israel which is supported by countries like India, Iran has launched 10 days of celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the Islamic revolution that overthrew the US-backed former ruler, the Shah. As a bully policy, the USA rapes Iran by slamming the lack of Western democracy in the country and insists that many in Iran would like more “democracy” and personal freedoms. But a recent study has revealed US aversion to any criticism of its government’s destructive role in Mideast and Afghanistan. But Iranians are also receptive to US President Barack Obama’s invitation to heal relations with Washington.
Most Iranians are still proud of the independence from foreign domination they won in 1979. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said speaking at a ceremony in the capital, Tehran, at the mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini – the father of the revolution that the revolution is “lively and alive”. “We are still at the beginning of the path and greater changes are ahead,” Ahmadinejad was quoted by AFP news agency as saying, “Although the Islamic revolution happened in Iran it is not limited to Iranian borders”.
The US broke off diplomatic ties with Iran in 1979, after students stormed the US embassy in Tehran after the Islamist revolution overthrew the US-backed Shah. Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Iran from exile in Paris on 1 February 1979. It took only 10 days before the Shah’s regime collapsed. Iranians are as usual united and stand behind their leader. The chants of “Death to America!” and “Death to Israel!” on Jan 31 reminded the long standing animosity between the super power and the nuclear aspiring Islamic state. May be there was no longer the fervour of those early days of the revolution, as the western reports suggest.
In an unprecedented move, President Ahmadinejad congratulated US president-elect Barack Obama on his election win. Barack Obama has offered to open unconditional dialogue with Iran about its nuclear program. US President Obama has used his first formal TV interview since taking office to reach out to the Muslim world – saying Americans are not its enemy. Obama reiterated that the US would extend the hand of friendship to Iran if it “unclenched its fist”.
Iran’s president has responded to an overture by the new US president by demanding an apology for past US “crimes” committed against Iran. The US “stood against the Iranian people in the past 60 years”, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said during an address in the western region of Khermenshah. “Those who speak of change must apologize to the Iranian people and try to repair their past crimes,” he said.
The presidential poll is approaching and the chances of Ahmadinejad getting reelected are greater than projected by the USA. Iran’s rhetoric war has united the Iranian as never before and Iran is on its way to have nukes, if not already have them, as the president once even claimed having got some last year at the height of “Iran-US nerve war. Nowadays, however, Iranian governments get judged on much more mundane issues like the state of the economy or the ever worsening Tehran traffic.
II
Relations between Washington and Tehran reached new lows in recent years over attempts by the US and its allies in the United Nations to curtail Iran’s nuclear programme over fears it is trying to build nuclear weapons. Tehran says its programme is to develop civilian nuclear power only. The new US ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, said that she was looking forward to “vigorous diplomacy that includes direct diplomacy with Iran “. Iran has called the US bluff all along ad blamed it for pursing the Jewish policy to appease the fascists..
Ahmadinejad also attacked US support for Israeli fascism and also its own wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He called on Obama to withdraw US troops from their bases around the world and for America to “stop interfering in other people’s affairs”. Referring to Obama’s predecessor, George W Bush, he said he trusted that he had “gone to hell”. Last year, while in Iraq, Ahmadinejad called the occupying foreign terror forces led by the USA to quit Iraq and Afghanistan.
The remarks are the first Iranian comment on the US since Obama took office eight days ago on 20 Jan. In Tehran the BBC’s Jon Leyne who opposes Iran and other Islamic nations describes it as one of Ahmadinejad’s strongest tirades against the US. The new US president Barack Obama has offered to extend a hand if Iran “unclenched its fist”. President Obama discussed the possibility of a softening of US policy towards Iran in his first interview recorded with a Saudi-owned Arabic TV network. Ahmadinejad congratulated Obama after his election in November but the message was criticized in Iran and received a cool response from Obama.
USA believes in threats and tactics to bully the weak nations, while keep applying diplomatic rules with strong nations like Russia, China and others. America’s crimes against Iran, the Iranian leader said in his televised speech, included support for the Iranian coup of 1953 and backing for Saddam Hussein in the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s. The Iranian president welcomed the possibility of US change, but said it should be “fundamental and effective” rather than just a change of tactics.
III
It is a very sad commentary on Islam today that there is not even one Muslim country that truly practices Islamic tenets in true spirits, although there are over 57 declared Muslim nations, both big and small in size and population, strong and weak economic politically and security wise; both nuclear and non-nuclear and aspiring nuclear powers; both terrorist and anti-terrorist nations depending on their equations with USA and other anti-Islamic nations controlling the world. All that the Muslim leaders seek is wealth for themselves and their kith and kin and they promote nepotism and rampant corruption inflicting a serious blow to Islam at their levels, anti-Islamic tenet like inequality and drunkardness.
The US-led anti-Islamic world does not allow any real Islam to flourish any where in the world and after the destruction of Afghanistan that tried to establish a true Islamic society, no Islamic nation takes any risk of establishing an Islamic nation based on Sharia’. All anti-Islamic nations now led by US-India-Israel are ganged up to “defeat Islam and kill the Muslims under fictitious pretexts like terrorism that are created by themselves to uproot Islam. They cleverly use the services of some of Muslim organizations promoted by CIA-Mossad-RAW globally and regionally.
That Iran even after an Islamic revolution could not make any real progress in implementing Islam in true spirits is another story now. Ahmadinejad will, as expected, stand for re-election in June, Aliakbar Javanfekr, a close aide of Iranian president asserted. World may see twists and turns out of Iran as its leaders work out whether Obama is offering real change and what they may offer in return. While he was playing to the crowd, he could also be staking out his position ahead of Iran’s presidential election in June.
III
A brief calendar of events concerning Iran’s problems with USA and UNSC and IAEA: Iran waged a long war with its neighbor Iraq with American weapons. But USA wants to disarm Iran after it destroyed Iraq. Iran’s nuclear path is being used by the USA and Israel to invade Tehran, but Iran has challenged them to do that. The US-led anti-Islamic West is using Iran against the Arab nations.
Rise of Anti-Americanism
2002 January – US President George Bush describes Iraq, Iran and North Korea as an “axis of evil”, warning of the proliferation of long-range missiles being developed in these countries. The speech causes outrage in Iran and is condemned by reformists and conservatives alike. 2002 September – Russian technicians begin construction of Iran’s first nuclear reactor at Blusher despite strong objections from US. 2003 June – Thousands attend student-led protests in Tehran against clerical establishment. 2003 September – UN nuclear watchdog, IAEA, gives Tehran weeks to prove it is not pursuing an atomic weapons programme. 2005 June – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Tehran’s ultra-conservative mayor, wins a run-off vote in presidential elections, defeating cleric and former president Amber Hashemite Rafsanjani.
Nuclear crisis
2005 August-September – Tehran said it had resumed uranium conversion at its Isaac plant and insists the programme is for peaceful purposes. IAEA finds Iran in violation of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. 2006 February – IAEA votes to report Iran to the UN Security Council over its nuclear activities. Iran resumes uranium enrichment at Nathan. 2006 April – Iran says it has succeeded in enriching uranium at its Nathan facility. 2006 31 August – UN Security Council deadline for Iran to halt its work on nuclear fuel passes. IAEA says Tehran has failed to suspend the programme.
Holocaust denial
2006 December – Iran hosts a controversial conference on the Holocaust; delegates include Holocaust deniers. UN Security Council votes to impose sanctions on Iran’s trade in sensitive nuclear materials and technology. Iran condemns the resolution and vows to speed up uranium enrichment work. 2007 April – President Ahmadinejad says Iran can produce nuclear fuel on an industrial scale.
IAEA says Iran has begun making nuclear fuel in its underground uranium enrichment plant. It also says that Iran has started up more than 1,300 centrifuge machines. 2007 May – IAEA says Iran could develop a nuclear weapon in three to eight years if it so chooses. 2007 July – Iran announces plans to stop making cars that only run on petrol and switch to dual-fuel vehicles, which also run on gas.
Iran agrees to allow inspectors to visit the Ark nuclear plant following talks with the IAEA. 2007 December – A new US intelligence report plays down the perceived nuclear threat posed by Iran. 2008 February – Iran launches a research rocket to inaugurate a newly built space centre. Washington describes the launch as “unfortunate”. 2008 March – President Ahmadinejad makes unprecedented official visit to Iraq, where he calls on foreign troops to leave. He also stresses his government’s desire to help rebuild Iraq and signs a number of cooperation agreements. UN Security Council tightens economic and trade sanctions on Tehran. 2008 June – EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana presents an offer of trade benefits, which Tehran says it will look at, but will reject if it demands suspension of uranium enrichment. 2008 July – Iran test-fires a new version of the Shahab-3, a long-range missile it says is capable of hitting targets in Israel. Iran says it has successfully launched a test rocket capable of carrying a satellite into space. 2008 September – UN Security Council passes unanimously a new resolution reaffirming demands that Iran stop enriching uranium, but imposes no new sanctions.

THE ENCOUNTER OF ISLAMIC REVOLUTION WITH THE ATOMIC HELL
By Allama Muhammad Yousuf Gabriel
During the last three centuries and a half, that is since the appearance of this philosophy of modern atomism, the spirit of religion has been gradually sapped by the ever-increasing influence of this Baconian, Science-guided, materialistic philosophy of progress, so that in these present times the philosophy of progress appears to have assumed complete sway over man’s mind. While religion exists merely like a shadow and a relic of the past, regarded generally as a private affair of the individual. The state of Islam, however, among the religions is a little different. It still exercises some influence on the mind of its followers. It still is extant in its pristine from intact. And it claims to contain the remedy of every ill and answer to every problem.
But the test of Islam now stands on the point whether it can save its followers from the flames of the atomic hell which now hangs on the horizons of this mankind in a most determined manner to consume this world. If, however, Islam intends to save its followers from the hazards of the atomic hell that is the atomic bombs and atomic radiations then it will have to avert the atomic threat not from the heads of its own followers, but the entire mankind. Because no nation alone can remain safe from the atomic storm as long as the atomic threat exists in the world. This actually is the test of Islam, because if this mankind is consumed by the atomic hell where lay then the necessity of the revival of Islam or the Islamic revolution. This argument may be countenanced by the fact, that if this mankind is consumed by the atomic hell of this present world, this mankind will see the atomic hell of the next eternal world (Al-Hotama) lying in wait for them, for not only the causes of the appearance of the atomic bomb and the causes of the punishment in Hotama are identical, but also the nature and the scientific characteristics of both are the same. Read the Chapter 104 Al-Homaza in the Quran and dread.
Islam thus needs a collision with the causes of the appearance of this worldly atomic hell in order to save this mankind from the flames both of this worldly atomic hell and the atomic hell of the next world that is Al-Hotama. But the followers of Islam being under the influence of a misunderstanding, that, “because Islam was not averse to progress, therefore it was not averse to this modern progress”, will negate the possibility of a collision between Islam and this modern progress which is the root-cause of the appearance of atomic hell. The compatibility between the view of the Quran and this modern science-guided progress they infer from the signs of the contemplation of the works of God (Ghaur-fil-Ayyaat), ignoring the difference between the objects of such contemplation which the Quran has set forth and which this modern progresses has in view.
The result of this misunderstanding of the followers of Islam will be that this entire mankind including the Muslims will be consumed by the atomic hell, and the actual teachings of the Quran will go in vain, while the Muslims will stand accused of failing the religion of Islam and mankind both. This modern progress is not merely progress, it is a continued, systematic, organized, eve-increasing and infinite process. And because it is ever-increasing, therefore, it will gradually occupy the mind and time of man in an ever-increasing manner, expelling at the same time and proportionally the thought of the other world, and therefore religion because religion is based on the thought of the other world, till eventually religion is completely expelled from man’s mind and time because this progress is infinite. This is a fact which can be observed by any-one. Nor it is very difficult to find that this process of progress ends in the flames of the atomic hell. Let therefore this fact be constantly kept in sight by anyone who desires to initiate the Islamic revolution. Let the ultimate goal of the Islamic revolution be the extinction of the atomic hell at any cost. Or else all the labour and sacrifice will be found to go in vain.
It might be argued in this respect, that Islam will succeed in creating an atmosphere of good will and no war. And the possibility of war and atomic war will be annihilated. And that the scientists will by and by achieve a control over the hazards of atomic energy. It is not possible here in this short article to discuss these views. What I am obliged to say in this respect is that no hopes could be as false or more absurd than these. The misfortune of this mankind is that most people are ignorant of the subject of atomic science. And also that they consider science as powerful and as wise as God himself. They do not know that the world of science is stuck up in atomic phenomenon. Man finds himself utterly helpless in this field. Atomic bombs and reactors look like things very imposing, but the actual thing is to achieve control over radiations and to discover sure cure for radiation sickness. And it appears well-nigh an improbability. Atomic hell is the wrath of God enkindled. It is divine punishment. No protection from divine punishment is possible.
Quran let it be known, whereas it prefers the other world to this present world and has not very favourable opinion of this world and its pleasures, it looks with the eye of bitterest displeasure at this modern Baconian progress of atomism. Just read the Chapter 104 Al-Homaza in the Quran and you will feel the intensity of the sentiment and the severity of the punishment. Yet it is surprising to observe that the people of these days despite their knowledge of the atomic hazards should not care for the dire situation. The Quran has challenged this age of Baconian atomism, and it has the ability to challenge. It champions the cause of all divine scriptures. But the views of the Quran have to be understood aright. If this world of Allah is consumed by the atomic hell due to this modern progress, it will not be because the Quran allowed this progress, but because the followers of the Quran failed to understand the views of the Quran correctly. The Muslims should stand up against the atomic bomb and should not rest till it is destroyed along with the causes of its appearance.
Muslims are stirring. They seek the revival of Islam. It is a blessed thought. Difficulties, however, are great and many. Muslims are not as yet clear on the views of the Quran about this philosophy of modern atomism and its result, the modern progress. But the greatest obstacle in the way of the revival of Islam is this modern progress, and most of the other difficulties have their origin in it. Before the Muslims stirred for the revival of Islam, this progress was the cause of their indifference toward Islam. And after they have stirred it will play the basic role in sapping their spirit and occupying their mind and time, and keeping them in constant worry about the worldly matters.
Judging from the prevailing atmosphere of this world, the ship of Islamic revolution seems to be sailing on an ocean of darkness and has at the same time a hole in its bottom from which water is continually pouring in. This hole is of the modern progress. The ocean of darkness no doubt is this Baconian culture of modern atomism. Unless therefore this hole is sealed, it appears difficult for the ship to reach the harbour. But how to seal this hole. The people cry for the necessities of life. The cruel, the ever-growing necessities. Nor it is possible for any one country to forsake this course of progress without the fear of disruption within an aggression from without.
Islamic revolution is essential, because it is the Islam that has eventually to fight the causes of the atomic hell out in order to save this mankind. Yet the obligation of this modern progress in these present circumstances does no appear possible for any one nation. What then should be done. The first requisite in this respect is that the Muslims should know and keep in mind their final goal that of destroying the atomic hell and saving this mankind. The second requisite I have endeavoured to provide in the form of a series of volumes. It is the fruit of my forty year labour. In these volumes the true reality of this philosophy of atomism and its consequences, and the relative views of the Quran have been revealed. When the mankind has read these works and their eyes are opened to the grim situation and the dire consequences, they will collectively chalk out some feasible programme to eliminate the threat. These volumes I have completed recently and are all unpublished as yet. It will be a great honour and a blessing to get them published. Which nation is destined to this honour is not known to me. THE BACONIAN CULTURE AND THE ANTICHRIST
By Allama Muhammad Yousuf Gabriel
After you have known the scientific and logical end of this Baconian culture in the flames of atomic hell, observe another, a very abominable destructive side of this culture. Know to your horror that this culture shows all those characteristics to the letter, which were attributed by the Holy Prophet of Islam, (peace be upon him) to the Messih-id-Dajjal (Antichrist) in a famous prophecy. Read the following characterization based on the points of the prophecy of the Holy Prophet.
(1) “Messih-id-Dajjal is one-eyed, left-eyed. On its right eye is a wart of the size of a grape”.
This Baconian culture, this Baconian progress and this Baconian Science are all the three, one-eyed, left-eyed. Their basis is exclusively on materialism and has to do nothing with spiritualism or the next world. This modern science is confined to the five senses and is utterly blind in the spiritual world. Metaphysics, resurrection and the things on that side of the grave are outside its scope. Right eye is metaphorically associated with the spiritual, the left with material. The simile of the grape has its own meanings. It means that there are optic nerves behind, but it is the retina that is obscured by the grape. The same is the case of this Baconian culture and its other appendages. They inwardly have sense to perceive the notion of spiritualism but cannot believe.
(2). “Messih-id-Dajjal will rise from among the Jews”.
The entire mental, philosophical, social, economical, moral and political basis of this Baconian culture is on the Jewish culture. It reminds one of Shakespeare’s Shylock. The same desire of this world, the same greed of its wealth, the same usury, the same revengeful disposition, the same wolf in the skin of a sheep. And further do you not see, the Jew as the creator, master, model, guide and the moving spirit of this modern Baconian Culture. And do you not observe the compromise between the Christian and the Jew and the same could be said of every nation in this world today.
(3).”Messih-id-Dajjal riding his donkey will move on the tour of this world”.
Any one acquainted with the history of this modern culture, how it invented its railway engine, and other mechanical means of transport, and how it moved out on its engine on the tour of this earth, and how it completed its tour, will have no difficulty in understanding this statement that is, Messih-id-Dajjal riding his donkey will move out to tour this earth. As far as the metaphor, rather the simile of donkey is concerned; it is well known that since the beginning of history, donkey has been regarded as the symbol of conveyance. This modern age stands as distinct in having its own mechanical mode of conveyance and transport against the donkey of the past pre-modern ages in contradistinction. There are two donkeys. One has been created on biological lines, the other on mechanical.
(4).”Massih-id-Dajjal will carry with him baskets of loaves and will distribute them among his followers”.
The Baconian culture is basically the culture of loaves. They who follow this Baconian culture receive loaves and are better off economically.
(5).”Canals will move along with Messih-id-Dajjal”. See the map of the world to know that wherever this Baconian culture goes, a network of canals appears there.
(6) .”Messih-id-Dajjal will command the crop to grow, and it shall grow up instantaneously. He will command the cloud to rain and it shall rain”.
The care and the speed with which the crops are grown in this age is a fact worth observing. So also is the process of making artificial rain from the clouds. So that this artificial rain is even used as a war tactics to destroy the crops of the enemy.
(7) .”Messih-id-Dajjal will have his own paradise and hell”.
But his paradise actually will be hell, and his hell paradise. The entire enterprise of this Baconian culture is an endeavour to create a material paradise on earth. They who follow this Baconian culture enter this paradise, but it is hell. They who ignore this Baconian culture, they are cast into the hell of poverty and disgrace. Yet they are in the paradise. Observable also is the fact, that this paradise of Baconian culture is now in the range of the atomic hell, which has appeared in a very appropriate manner as the divine punishment, and the logical and scientific conclusion of the process of Baconian progress.
(8).”Messih-id-Dajjal will first claim his prophet hood, then God-head”.
This Baconian culture first convinces the people with argument about the validity of its views on the line of prophet hood. Then due to complete dependence on its methods and resources, the people are obliged to treat it as God. Today there is much more dependence of the people on science and technique than is their trust in real God.
(9) .”Messih-id-Dajjal will not be allowed to enter the mosque”.
They therefore who will take refuge in the mosque will be able to escape his irresistible enticement.
Today, the scope of religion is confined to the mosque. Outside the mosque the entire field of worldly matters is ruled by Baconian culture.
(10) .”The letters KFR that is Kefir (Infidel) will be inscribed on the forehead of Messih-id-Dajjal. A believer even though illiterate will be able to read the inscription, let the infidel even if literate will fail to see them”.
The same is with this Baconian culture a PhD, DSc, F.R.S might well appear ignorant of the true nefarious reality of this Baconian culture, while an ignorant cobbler might inwardly know the pernicious side of the Baconian affair.
(11) “Messih-d-Dajjal will be a gilder”.
This Baconian culture is a gilder too. Usury softened and diluted is named as “Interest”. Gambling is named as “Lottery” and “Racing”. Every evil is gilded and made to appear as no evil, even a virtue. Gilding is a prominent, all-pervading feature of the Baconian culture, and affords a very interesting, astonishing study.
(12).”Jesus Christ will kill Messih-id Dajjal”.
None else can. This Baconian culture can be destroyed only by the otherworldliness, and preference of the next world to this present world. This virtue is associated with the name of Jesus Christ, although it is amply to be found in the Quran also. The Prophet of Islam, (peace be upon him) declared poverty as his pride.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ has used the word “Anti-Christ” that apparently means as one who is against the Christ or is enemy of Christ. But the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) has not merely called him (a liar, a swindler etc.) but has called him as Messih-id-Dajjal, that is one that appears as Messih but is a swindler, that is he appears in the guise and garb of Christ yet is only a simulant. It is interesting to observe that every thing that Christ did is done also by this Baconian culture, yet the whole affair is of opposite nature. We will see first the resemblance:-
1 Christ fed a crowd of four thousand with only seven loaves and a few fish.
This Baconian culture has made it its abusiveness to feed the people.
2 Christ healed the sick, restored sight to the blind, and made the lame whole. This
Baconian culture has developed the art of healing and has erected hospitals.
3 Christ raised the dead. This Baconian culture has lavished remarkable attention
on this experiment but has not succeeded hitherto.
4 Christ showed miracles. So did this Baconian culture. It showed the miracles of
Science. Miracles indeed astonishing.
5 Christ walked on water. This Baconian culture made iron to float. See iron ships
.Christ rode the donkey made by God. The Baconian culture has made its own
Donkey of iron. See the mechanical means of transport. This factor would
raise the Baconian culture to Godhead, as a Creator.
6. Christ made birds of clay. And breathed in them and they went away flying.
This Baconian culture made aircraft and caused it to fly.
7 Christ heard mysterious voices. This Baconian culture devised radio.
8 Christ contended with the devil in a dialogue. This Baconian culture produced
television.
Yet there exists exact Anti-thesis between the work of Christ and that of this Baconian culture. Christ did every thing through Spiritual agency while this Baconian culture achieved through material means. Also, the eye of Christ was on the next-world. While the eye of this Baconian culture is on this present world.
The Holy Prophet of Islam (Peace be upon him) said to the Jews, “Christ came and parted. But you did not recognize him. Now your Christ will come but he will be the Messih-id-Dajjal, the lying Christ”. The afflicted Jews did for thousands of years weep in misery for their expected Messiha. The last national conference of their Rabis to investigate the coming of their Messiha was held in Europe in the beginning of this Baconian age. But then they completely forgot their Messiha. As if, they achieved that object for which they used to remember their Messiha.
In this Baconian age their culture pervaded the entire world. All their sufferings and afflictions ceased and they obtained a place of leadership of this world. They had their kingdom established all over the earth. The Muslims too always had remembered Messih-id-Dajjal. But since a decade they have completely forgotten him. Neither a mention is ever made from the pulpit of the mosque nor in a private conversation. The mention of resurrection, the torments of grave, Messih-id-Dajjal and Mehdi has been substituted by the mention of life, production, progress and science respectively.
